Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aloísio Gaúcho started the match with the kick off. Luzio FC's Jean Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luzio FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aloísio Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Anselmo Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Yuri de Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomás Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 22 played minutes Luzio FC got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Prado. After 23 played minutes Pergamo FC got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Gaúcho. Pergamo FC's Thomás Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Sena in the 26th minute of play. Luzio FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Pergamo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Noel Nogueira took the corner. The corner ended in Noel Nogueira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pergamo FC's Thomás Berger did a great save. After a rather tough play, Pergamo FC's Hamílton Pinho got a free kick in the 28th minute. Yuri de Castro spun around in front of the goal 37 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pergamo FC's goal. Jean Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aloísio Gaúcho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri de Castro was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pergamo FC's goalkeeper Thomás Berger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Sena. Michel Paraense hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Yuri de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Aloísio Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pergamo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Pinho in the 70th minute of play forced Luzio FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Yuri de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pergamo FC's Thomás Berger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute Yuri de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomás Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Sena in the 75th minute. Jean Senas short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Thomás Berger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Yuri de Castro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Thomás Berger 77 minutes into the match. Hamílton Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamílton Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Aloísio Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Alves having to interfere. Maurinho Tande's late challenge caught a Pergamo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurinho Tande helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, Luzio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Tande to maneuver through the defense. Hamílton Pinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hamílton Pinho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute Aloísio Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match, Jean Sena got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thomás Berger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 93rd minute, Mathias Prado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Pergamo FC's Thomás Berger got control of the ball when Jean Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Luzio FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
