The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gernando Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Grandall FC's Durval Custódio got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Grandall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Sabóia came free, but Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Vladimir Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Umberto Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Umberto Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Paiva hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Grandall FC's Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Sabóia in the 23rd minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Tujucue's Vladimir Sabóia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolas Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Grandall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Donato came free, but Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grandall FC's Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Sabóia in the 30th minute of play. Umberto Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Sabóia in the 37th minute of play forced Grandall FC's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tujucue's Nicolas Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Tujucue from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Donato in the 44th minute of play forced Grandall FC's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Moreira to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Grandall FC's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umberto Donato. A collision led to Grandall FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Durval Custódio hit a great ball. A hard shot by Orlando Galvão from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 59th match minute, Tujucue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marquinhos Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Hamílton Linhares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nicolas Lira. Tujucue's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Tujucue's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Moreira came free, but Nicolas Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tujucue's goalkeeper Nicolas Lira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gernando Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 77 in the game by Umberto Donato from a close distance when the talented Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann managed to make a qualified save. Grandall FC's players were relieved. Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Umberto Donato came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Tujucue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Donato couldn't finish the play. Grandall FC's Luiz Eduardo Hoffmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Grandall FC from getting a goal against them. Gernando Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Tujucue supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tujucue would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
