Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tujucue's Vladimir Sabóia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th play minute Jeferson Duarte came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicolas Lira. 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Tujucue's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Catarinense came free, but Nicolas Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tujucue's zone, Jeferson Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Lira came out of the goal and Jeferson Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jeferson Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tujucue's Vladimir Sabóia in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ijui's goalie prevented a goal. If Umberto Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Schmidt having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Tujucue's Orlando Galvão tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ijui's Egídio Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Donato in the 50th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeferson Catarinense to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fernando Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Schmidt having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Umberto Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tujucue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Umberto Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Sabóia in the 59th minute of play forced Ijui's goalkeeper Egídio Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umberto Donato came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Egídio Schmidt could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Sabóia in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egídio Schmidt saved Ijui from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Ijui's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Sabóia came free, but Egídio Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeferson Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Sabóia in the 70th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Ijui got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Macedo. Egídio Schmidt was a little too slow when Vladimir Sabóia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-2. Umberto Donato took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egídio Schmidt. Egídio Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Saldanha during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Tujucue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. Tujucue's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
