Joélson Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Dracena, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Sangrador's goal looked a bit too open when 邱夕银 came free, but Roger Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Duda Meireles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sangrador's Roger Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Söderström in the 22nd minute of play. When Sangrador's Jonas Dracena in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sangrador's Roger Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc-Olivier Damay in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Diogo Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sangrador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, L.A Galaxy's Joélson Tróia got control of the ball when Jonas Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roger Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Söderström, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd match minute, Sangrador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Neves to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Marc-Olivier Damay managed to get in a good position for a shot. L.A Galaxy's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc-Olivier Damay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltazar Novaes during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. L.A Galaxy's Walmir Couto was substituted for Marc-Olivier Damay. In the 35th minute, one of Sangrador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sangrador. Sangrador:s Roger Torres showed great skill when he stopped 邱夕银:s penalty. In the 38th minute, 邱夕银 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 45th minute, Jonas Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sangrador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Dracena was the one to do the kick off. When Walmir Couto came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the L.A Galaxy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir Couto couldn't finish the play. Roger Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 邱夕银's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute, Jonas Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joélson Tróia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Jonas Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes, 邱夕银 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the L.A Galaxy and the Sangrador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to L.A Galaxy getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. 邱夕银 hit a great ball. In the 70th minute 邱夕银 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sangrador's Zé Neves got a free kick in the 71st minute. Zé Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Felipe Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Walmir Couto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Torres. Sangrador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmir Couto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Maurinho Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurinho Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maurinho Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Abelardo do Vale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Torres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roger Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 邱夕银, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Torres came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by L.A Galaxy's Jan Söderström. But to his dismay, Jan Söderström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 93 played minutes Sangrador got a freekick which was hit by Zé Neves. The L.A Galaxy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
