Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuel McGhee started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Samuel McGhee sped through Juventus Clube Goianiense's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Claudinei Trancoso. Agostinho Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudinei Trancoso having to make a save. In the 13th minute, Jorge Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudinei Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel McGhee, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Claudinei Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Agostinho Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aladin Cave received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Claudinei Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Evaristo Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anderson Pirani struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Aníbal Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus Clube Goianiense. After a rather tough play, Palestra Eterno's Evaristo Pernambucano got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jorge Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Claudinei Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, Palestra Eterno's Samuel McGhee made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudinei Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anderson Pirani made a kick off. Samuel McGhee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belmiro de Lima hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Anderson Pirani suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 58th minute, Fred Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel McGhee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juventus Clube Goianiense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Samuel McGhee scored to the left of an out of position Claudinei Trancoso, making the score, 0-4. Jorge Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palestra Eterno's Samuel McGhee got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palestra Eterno's Evaristo Pernambucano pulled a muscle in his back after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 75 minutes of play Juventus Clube Goianiense's Ulisses Guerra was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Claudinei Trancoso made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Agostinho Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th match minute, Juventus Clube Goianiense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Samuel McGhee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Trancoso having to interfere. Agostinho Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Trancoso having to interfere. Juventus Clube Goianiense's Claudinei Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Juventus Clube Goianiense from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Palestra Eterno booed when Juventus Clube Goianiense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel McGhee in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinei Trancoso saved Juventus Clube Goianiense from getting behind. Palestra Eterno's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
