In the 13th minute Enéas Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Jonathan Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OSBOM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mazinho Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovanni Munhoz hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Mazinho Pinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Chalana EC's Leonel Medeiros got a free kick in the 26th minute. Chalana EC's Arthur Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Pinho in the 29th minute of play. In the 38th minute Ronaldinho Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The Chalana EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
