Amadeu das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Caboto's Pedro Luiz Cardozo got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomás Montenegro got free with Afonsinho Loureiro in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Caboto's Afonsinho Loureiro got control of the ball when Cafu Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonsinho Loureiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléberson Dantas in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Penha got free with Afonsinho Loureiro in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomás Montenegro in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Afonsinho Loureiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cléberson Dantas scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho Loureiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Pedro Luiz Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thomás Montenegro in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonsinho Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute Pedro Luiz Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeu das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonsinho Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Almeida in the 63rd minute of the match. Thomás Montenegro took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Afonsinho Loureiro. Afonsinho Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Pedro Luiz Cardozo fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caboto's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Cardozo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of NYLAND STAR SOCCER booed when Caboto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Cardozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luiz Cardozo got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 80 played minutes Caboto got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Cardozo. After 82 minutes of play, NYLAND STAR SOCCER's Cléberson Dantas made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonsinho Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Rogério Vinhas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amadeu das Neves. Rogério Vinhas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. 89 minutes into the match, Caboto's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Dantas came free, but Afonsinho Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Thomás Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cafu Almeida scored 4-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonsinho Loureiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. NYLAND STAR SOCCER walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
