Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luís Eduardo Almeida kicked off to start the match. Luís Eduardo Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Domingues having to interfere. Eduardo Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over César Domingues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Almeida in the 9th minute of play forced Caranahyba's goalkeeper César Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Caranahyba getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Naldo Senna hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vivaldo Aparecido during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Inhata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vivaldo Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Yan Quadros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. César Domingues was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 35th minute Luís Eduardo Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inhata's Yan Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. César Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. César Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Quadros in the 42nd minute of the match. Caranahyba's César Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo Almeida in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Galvão in the 45th minute of play forced Inhata's goalkeeper Nestor Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Galvão to make the kick off. In the 59th minute Luís Eduardo Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Almeida in the 66th minute of the match. Yan Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute Luís Eduardo Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luís Eduardo Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Inhata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Eduardo Almeida couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Caranahyba's César Domingues got control of the ball when Yan Quadros tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Luís Eduardo Almeida put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of César Domingues. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Almeida in the 84th minute of play forced Caranahyba's goalkeeper César Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The goalkeeper, César Domingues, was totally fooled by Inhata's Laércio Paranaense, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Inhata played a much better game than Caranahyba and deserved their victory. The Caranahyba players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
