A collision led to Lanceiro AD getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Oséias de Azevedo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Rossi in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Bezerra saved Lanceiro AD from getting behind. Pedro Augusto Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Bezerra having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Raí Carneiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The shot was a little too simple and Juarês Albuquerque could save by the left post. 40 minutes into the match, SE Estrela RO's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Medeiros came free, but Juarês Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodrigo Rossi to strike the kick off in the second half.
