Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luan Almeida took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Leonardo Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durval da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval da Costa having to interfere. In the 8th minute of the match HOEPERS got a corner. EC JUVENTUDE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benê Romero ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Benê Romero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EC JUVENTUDE's Durval da Costa did a great save. The supporters of HOEPERS booed when EC JUVENTUDE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Durval da Costa came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by HOEPERS's Aílton Netto. But to his dismay, Aílton Netto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Durval da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luan Almeida's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Borges in the 21st minute of play forced HOEPERS's goalkeeper Nilson Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to EC JUVENTUDE getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alfredão Vides hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in HOEPERS's zone, Alfredão Vides stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilson Melo came out of the goal and Alfredão Vides tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dedê Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. HOEPERS's Luan Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Durval da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

EC JUVENTUDE's Durval da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Santana in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê Rosa in the 56th minute of play forced HOEPERS's goalkeeper Nilson Melo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Ciro de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilson Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedê Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Marcos Borges struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Nilson Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EC JUVENTUDE. 68 minutes into the match, Hílton Massa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of EC JUVENTUDE's Durval da Costa. Durval da Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dedê Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nilson Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Dedê Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredão Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Melo having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Dedê Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EC JUVENTUDE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedê Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. EC JUVENTUDE's Dedê Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Dedê Rosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EC JUVENTUDE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Dedê Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EC JUVENTUDE's Durval da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Almeida in the 91st minute of play. Chants of HOEPERS echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as EC JUVENTUDE had held the ball for most of the match.
