The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jardel Rosado during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Brotas SS getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jardel Rosado hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Brotas SS's Geovânio Vidal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente de Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evandro Barros hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Adalberto Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Farinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Farinha FC's Adalberto Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Motta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardo Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Luiz Cruz got free with Clemente de Lima in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Farinha FC's attentive Wellington Bastos managed to snatch the ball when Anderson Pereira made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. Bernardo Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jardel Rosado got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 35 played minutes Brotas SS got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Rosado. Ruy do Nascimento struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Bernardo Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farinha FC. Bernardo Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Baptista in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Ruy do Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Pedro Luiz Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 53 played minutes Farinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruy do Nascimento. Adalberto Baptista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Bernardo Motta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Adalberto Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Farinha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Baptista couldn't finish the play. Adalberto Baptista succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 61st playminute. With a little luck, Brotas SS's Bernardo Motta got control of the ball when Adalberto Baptista tried to sneak it across the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Brotas SS's goalkeeper Bernardo Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruy do Nascimento. The supporters of Farinha FC booed when Brotas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Brotas SS defense, Adalberto Baptista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Motta. The Brotas SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Motta should have stopped the shot. The Farinha FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Farinha FC's Adalberto Baptista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st minute, Pedro Luiz Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Brotas SS's goalkeeper Bernardo Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adalberto Baptista. Evandro Barros was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Evandro Barros hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Adalberto Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Motta. Brotas SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adalberto Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The supporters of Brotas SS booed when Farinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Reis's late challenge caught a Brotas SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Reis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Farinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Reis to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Farinha FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
