Macau FC's Filipe Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho da Cunha in the 8th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Manoel Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Martele FC booed when Macau FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elói Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Macau FC's Filipe Valladares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Macau FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Flavinho da Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filipe Valladares was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Róbson Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Róbson Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Félix in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Tommie Schipper managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macau FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommie Schipper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbson Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavinho da Cunha made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Macau FC got a freekick which was hit by Elói Cunha. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavinho da Cunha in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manoel Negri charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manoel Negri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manoel Negri hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Magalhães in the 60th minute of play forced Macau FC's goalkeeper Filipe Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percy Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Róbson Miranda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Percy Félix in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Martele FC's goalkeeper Róbson Miranda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Percy Félix. Manoel Negri was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Martele FC could leave the field as winners, despite Macau FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
