Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Pedro Tróia started the match with the kick off. João Pedro Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Barca's Waldemar de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Walmir Madureira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Doni Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Joélson Mumbach made a huge save. In the 18th match minute, Barca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Matos to maneuver through the defense. João Pedro Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Mumbach having to interfere. 0-2 became the score in the 24th minute when Waldemar de Souza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Claudinho da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro Tróia in the 32nd minute of play forced Barca's goalkeeper Joélson Mumbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Doni Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super Mario ECR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doni Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Waldemar de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Hermínio Vander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Barca were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermínio Vander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute João Pedro Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joélson Mumbach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmir Madureira hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, João Pedro Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Super Mario ECR's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Doni Almeida struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Joélson Mumbach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Mario ECR. Waldemar de Souza was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Barca's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Barca's Waldemar de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermínio Vander might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Campidelis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermínio Vander ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute, Barca's Waldemar de Souza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afonso Campidelis. Afonso Campidelis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Waldemar de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Vander in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Barca booed when Super Mario ECR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Hermínio Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermínio Vander struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Afonso Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barca. Super Mario ECR's Afonso Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Super Mario ECR from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Barca could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Super Mario ECR throughout the match.
