Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, one of Cutiu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cutiu. Teodoro Pimenta shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 5th match minute, Cutiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Marinho to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Guilherme Lopes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cléber Hermes. When Ulisses Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cutiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Marinho couldn't finish the play. When Bruno Vides fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cutiu's protests and gave Bruno Vides a yellow card for diving instead. 17 minutes into the game, Cutiu's Bruno Vides nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joélson Mumbach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hermínio Vander struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Luiz Guilherme Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barca. In the 36th minute of the match, Waldemar de Souza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luiz Guilherme Lopes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Barca's zone, Gilberto de Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joélson Mumbach came out of the goal and Gilberto de Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gilberto de Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cutiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto de Carvalho couldn't finish the play. After the first half Cutiu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Vides stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bruno Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Mumbach having to interfere. Joélson Mumbach made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gilberto de Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. Joélson Mumbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Vides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barca's Joélson Mumbach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Barca from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Vides in the 60th minute of play forced Barca's goalkeeper Joélson Mumbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Cutiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Pimenta, 65 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gilberto de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Bruno Vides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joélson Mumbach was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Matías Matos hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, Barca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Matos to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute Cutiu were awarded a corner. Aloísio Valladares went to the cornerflag to take it. The Cutiu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
