Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hélder Tinoco started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Bolaxa getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lino Maranhense hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Oscar Rosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erivaldo Gonçalves was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléber Mendonça couldn't finish the play. If Romário Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Brasil Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Monteiro came free, but Claudinho Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romário Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kléber Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinho Cordeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Romário Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolaxa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kléber Mendonças short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Claudinho Cordeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Claudinho Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Monteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Romário Monteiro came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Bolaxa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Monteiro couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Bolaxa's Romário Monteiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romário Monteiro to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bolaxa getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Christiano Seco hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Tinoco in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erivaldo Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bolaxa's Erivaldo Gonçalves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Bolaxa from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléber Mendonça in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudinho Cordeiro saved Brasil Team FC from getting behind. Zeca Marinho hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Romário Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Claudinho Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolaxa. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brasil Team FC's goalkeeper Claudinho Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claudinho Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romário Monteiro in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Romário Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolaxa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário Monteiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kléber Mendonça took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho Cordeiro. Claudinho Cordeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Kléber Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho Cordeiro was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Claudinho Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeca Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeca Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Romário Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Bolaxa's Lino Maranhense got a free kick in the 97th minute.
