Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Telmo Pereira made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GALO DE MINAS! Serginho Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jerônimo da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Amauri Cearense put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jerônimo da Costa. Glauco Tasso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Moraes in the 14th minute. Jerônimo da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Glauco Tasso made a huge save. Guilherme Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Tasso having to interfere. Glauco Tasso made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Guilherme Moraes sent off a good shot on target. Amauri Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo da Costa having to interfere. In the 30th minute Telmo Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glauco Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Serginho Carneiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jerônimo da Costa. GALO DE MINAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serginho Carneiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jerônimo da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Netto in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, GALO DE MINAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Jerônimo da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amauri Cearense to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Amauri Cearense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerônimo da Costa. The goal made the score 0-3. Jerônimo da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amauri Cearense, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The supporters of Avanzzeira F.C booed when GALO DE MINAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GALO DE MINAS! The goalkeeper, Jerônimo da Costa, was totally fooled by Avanzzeira F.C's Agostinho Guedes, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 70 minutes into the match, Avanzzeira F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Moraes came free, but Glauco Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dráuzio Cardozo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALO DE MINAS's protests and gave Dráuzio Cardozo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GALO DE MINAS getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Mathias Tasso hit a great ball. Amauri Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Guilherme Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALO DE MINAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Avanzzeira F.C's Glauco Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Moraes in the 95th minute of play. Alberto Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Avanzzeira F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
