Christiano Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christiano Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Pereira in the 62nd minute of play forced Bolaxa's goalkeeper Erivaldo Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, GALO DE MINAS's Telmo Pereira got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jerônimo da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When Guilherme Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the GALO DE MINAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Moraes couldn't finish the play. Bolaxa were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing GALO DE MINAS to leave the ground with a draw.
