In the 10th match minute, Bad Boys Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Mucuna AD's João Adolfo Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro de Barros in the 12th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Eduardo Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro das Neves in the 20th minute of play. João Pedro de Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Adolfo Cordeiro having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro de Barros in the 33rd minute of play forced Mucuna AD's goalkeeper João Adolfo Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Pedro de Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Pinho hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bad Boys Jrs getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Perivaldo Toledo hit a great ball. João Pedro de Barros struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. João Adolfo Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bad Boys Jrs. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Dante in the 59th minute of play forced Bad Boys Jrs's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Mucuna AD's Felipe da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Eduardo Goiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 65th minute Ciro das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe da Costas short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Carlos Eduardo Goiano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bad Boys Jrs's Carlos Eduardo Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Dante in the 67th minute of play. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 82nd play minute Zé Roberto Cunha came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Eduardo Goiano. 0-3. 87 minutes into the match, Bad Boys Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro das Neves came free, but Carlos Eduardo Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 91 in the game by Felipe da Costa from a close distance when the talented Carlos Eduardo Goiano managed to make a qualified save. Bad Boys Jrs's players were relieved. Bad Boys Jrs's Carlos Eduardo Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro das Neves in the 92nd minute of play. The Mucuna AD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mucuna AD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
