Umberto Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos de Almeida in the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Revencia FC defense, Marcos de Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Umberto Andrade. The Revencia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Umberto Andrade should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Revencia FC's Jânio Motta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulinho Rezende. Paulinho Rezende yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 23rd minute Simão Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Novolina AD's Simão Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Egídio Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Novolina AD's Marcos de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marcos de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Marcos de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novolina AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos de Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Umberto Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Novolina AD's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Ribeiro came free, but Paulinho Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Novolina AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
