When Novolina AD's Marcos de Almeida in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fatec Campinas F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos de Almeida scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raphael Dracena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Fatec Campinas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Britto came free, but Raphael Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fatec Campinas F.C's Raphael Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos de Almeida in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Marcos de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novolina AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos de Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Dracena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the match, Fatec Campinas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Castro came free, but Raphael Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Britto in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Novolina AD booed when Fatec Campinas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Novolina AD's Simão Britto got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marcos de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Novolina AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Raphael Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Britto in the 38th minute of play. Raphael Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simão Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Raphael Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, Novolina AD's Simão Britto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raphael Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Novolina AD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Pimenta made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Marcos de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novolina AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos de Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raphael Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Britto in the 56th minute of play. Egídio Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Raphael Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Marcos de Almeida who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Raphael Dracena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Fatec Campinas F.C's zone, Simão Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Dracena came out of the goal and Simão Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Novolina AD booed when Fatec Campinas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Dracena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simão Britto went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Simão Britto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 97 minutes, Egídio Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novolina AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egídio Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Novolina AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
