Dé de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Reserva's Dé de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Carneiro in the 18th minute of play. Dé de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Reserva's goal looked a bit too open when Enéas Ceresso came free, but Dé de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakut Bağcıoğlu struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Adalberto Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reserva. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Richard Montenegro's late challenge caught a Reserva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Cruzilia got a freekick which was hit by Richard Montenegro. Adalberto Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Enéas Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Reserva got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Paiva. Dé de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Célio Corrêa got free with Dé de Azevedo in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Gino Mesquita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cruzilia's Adalberto Mendes. Adalberto Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dé de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Paulo Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Dé de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Saldanha in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Sabino Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reserva's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabino Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sabino Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reserva's Sabino Loureiro suffered a concussion in the 80th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 80 minutes, Tadeu Soeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cruzilia and the Reserva players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Cruzilia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Cruzilia's Luan Saldanha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dé de Azevedo. Dé de Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Dé de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Carneiro in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Reserva getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cássio Lopes hit a great ball. Dé de Azevedo made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Enéas Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. Dé de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reserva's Dé de Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Reserva from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cruzilia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
