Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dinei Costa kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Luzia's Hílton Trancoso got a free kick in the 7th minute. Juvenal Zonta came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Escalvado's Eliseu Arósio. But to his dismay, Eliseu Arósio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Luzia booed when Escalvado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Iuri Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dinei Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juvenal Zonta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, Escalvado's Natanael Pernambucano got control of the ball when Claudinho Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko de Alcântara in the 24th minute of play forced Luzia's goalkeeper Juvenal Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Luzia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. When Dinei Costa came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Escalvado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Ian Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luzia's Claudinho Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natanael Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A collision led to Escalvado getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Amílton da Mata hit a great ball. Válbson Linares, 41 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Claudinho Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Pernambucano having to interfere.

Claudinho Barbosa took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natanael Pernambucano. Natanael Pernambucano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinho Barbosa in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natanael Pernambucano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juvenal Zonta was a little too slow when Kiko de Alcântara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Iuri Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natanael Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Barbosa in the 69th minute of the match. Claudinho Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílton da Mata during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amílton da Mata hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iuri Ortiz in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natanael Pernambucano saved Escalvado from getting behind. Natanael Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iuri Ortiz in the 88th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kiko de Alcântara got free with Juvenal Zonta in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Dinei Costa came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Escalvado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Costa couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the match, Luzia's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Costa came free, but Juvenal Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
