After a rather tough play, Marajazinho SS's Arthur Travassos got a free kick in the 4th minute. Elano Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Washington Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo do Vale having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Pastorador FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Gaúcho came free, but Luís Paulo do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Arthur Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elano Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. André Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pastorador FC booed when Marajazinho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarbas Dias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Paulo do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean Gaúcho was the one to do the kick off. If Elano Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Paulo do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Washington Esteves in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Jean Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean Gaúcho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Paulo do Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Vinícius do Valle fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luís Paulo do Vale, passed just outside the right post. Elano Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Mendes having to make a save. In the 94th minute, Elano Cabral made a precise shot to the right of André Mendes. Marajazinho SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pastorador FC had won after a very even match.
