Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Edmílson Tande made the kick off and thus started the match. Arthur Sabóia charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arthur Sabóia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Marreco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilson Leite in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Tinoco saved Marreco from getting behind. Cipriano Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gilson Leite came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Cerquinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilson Leite couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd match minute, Marreco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Leandro Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerquinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cipriano Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remo Miranda was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Donatello Sarmento. In the 37th minute, Elder de Godoy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remo Miranda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rômulo Varela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cipriano Tinoco. Marreco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cerquinho's zone, Elder de Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remo Miranda came out of the goal and Elder de Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belchior Damião's late challenge caught a Marreco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belchior Damião helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th match minute, Cerquinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belchior Damião to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Elder de Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marreco's supporters rose to their feet, but Elder de Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilson Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cerquinho getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Reynaldo Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Elder de Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cerquinho's Remo Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th match minute, Cerquinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Carioca to maneuver through the defense. If Edmílson Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Marreco's goalkeeper Cipriano Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Souza. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilson Leite in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enéas Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Gilson Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cipriano Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Miranda having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Edmílson Tande notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cerquinho's Remo Miranda. Remo Miranda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th match minute, Marreco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar da Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th match minute, Marreco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Tande to maneuver through the defense. Marreco were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cerquinho for a fine match.
