Glauco Brasil came out of the goal and José Maria da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Maria da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Glauco Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Luz in the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Deivid do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Correia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Augusto de Carvalho having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Cláudio Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Augusto de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes, Norberto Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sebastopol AD and the Alamari players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alamari booed when Sebastopol AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Peixoto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alamari getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Laércio de Azevedo hit a great ball. Alamari's Glauco Brasil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Luz in the 37th minute of play. Glauco Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Luz in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Sebastopol AD's Fabrício Luz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Glauco Brasil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Lúcio Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sebastopol AD's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Toninho do Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toninho do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 65 played minutes Sebastopol AD got a freekick which was hit by Toninho do Nascimento. Carlos Augusto de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Correia in the 66th minute of play. Waldir Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Carlos Augusto de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Sebastopol AD's goal looked a bit too open when Waldir Correia came free, but Carlos Augusto de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jonas Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Augusto de Carvalho was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Alamari were the better team. Alamari's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
