Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zeca de Lara started the match with the kick off. Sérgio Senna hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When Christiano Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Toritama FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiano Amorim couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute of the match, Hílton Félix got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dagoberto Figueiredo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zeca de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Figueiredo having to interfere. Arassoiaba's Dagoberto Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca de Lara in the 14th minute of play. When Zeca de Lara came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Toritama FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeca de Lara couldn't finish the play. Caio de Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Túlio Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeca de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hílton Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Dagoberto Figueiredo made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Arassoiaba's goalkeeper Dagoberto Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hílton Félix. In the 33rd minute, José Augusto Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Toritama FC's Armando Brodel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 39th minute, Elói Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Toritama FC's Zeca de Lara in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arassoiaba's goalie prevented a goal. Dagoberto Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeca de Lara in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Toritama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Sena to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caio de Godoy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Delfim Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toritama FC and the Arassoiaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delfim Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Hílton Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Arassoiaba's zone, Hílton Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Figueiredo came out of the goal and Hílton Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Zeca de Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dagoberto Figueiredo. Arassoiaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeca de Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dudu Ramalho had several of the Toritama FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 67 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Túlio Rosa as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 71st minute Caio de Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Toritama FC's Zeca de Lara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dagoberto Figueiredo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zeca de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Figueiredo having to interfere. The supporters of Toritama FC booed when Arassoiaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes, Toritama FC's Armando Brodel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dagoberto Figueiredo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Toritama FC reached it. Túlio Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio de Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Arassoiaba's José Augusto Salgado got a free kick in the 94th minute. Hílton Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Figueiredo having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
