Angelo Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Antunes having to interfere. If Dorian Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nico Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Dias in the 16th minute of the match. Nico Antunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dorian Gerber in the 20th minute. Simão Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Prequeiro AD booed when Curitbanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nico Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Agnaldo Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prequeiro AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Agnaldo Eger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Curitbanos's Fiori Peixoto got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Nico Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 47 minutes of play, Curitbanos's Silvinho Pombal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doriva Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simão Correia to make the kick off. If Silvinho Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prequeiro AD's Celsinho Braga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Curitbanos. The supporters of Prequeiro AD booed when Curitbanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prequeiro AD's Angelo Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simão Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dorian Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Prequeiro AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorian Gerber couldn't finish the play. Iuri Massa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Celsinho Braga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Curitbanos's Nico Antunes didn't even have to move. Nico Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Dias in the 83rd minute of play. Agnaldo Eger hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Doriva Linhares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nico Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Gerber in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Gerber in the 97th minute of play forced Curitbanos's goalkeeper Nico Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Curitbanos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
