Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simão Correia started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Geovanni Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curitbanos and the Ipuassu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Curitbanos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! Caio Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Ipuassu's Aleandro Perez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nico Antunes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Joel Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Curitbanos's Flávio Pereira threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simão Correia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nico Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleandro Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to Curitbanos getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Iuri Massa hit a great ball. Nico Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Souza in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Curitbanos booed when Ipuassu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiori Peixoto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flávio Pereira. Ipuassu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Caio Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Ipuassu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silvinho Pombal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 21 minutes into the match, Ipuassu's goalkeeper Flávio Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvinho Pombal. If Simão Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute Simão Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aleandro Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nico Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleandro Perez in the 44th minute of play forced Curitbanos's goalkeeper Nico Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 45 in the game by Silvinho Pombal from a close distance when the talented Flávio Pereira managed to make a qualified save. Ipuassu's players were relieved. Nico Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aleandro Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aleandro Perez made a kick off. Nico Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleandro Perez in the 52nd minute of play. Caio Mineiro hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ipuassu defense, Simão Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flávio Pereira. The Ipuassu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flávio Pereira should have stopped the shot. Joel Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nico Antunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Edinho Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipuassu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinho Catarinense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edinho Catarinense hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Fiori Peixoto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flávio Pereira skillfully saved the ball. Edinho Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Edinho Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ipuassu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edinho Catarinense couldn't finish the play. Flávio Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Correia in the 81st minute of play. Silvinho Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Curitbanos's Silvinho Pombal suffered a sore thigh after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ipuassu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! If Simão Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caio Mineiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 95th minute, Nico Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flávio Pereira came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Curitbanos's Miguel Bezerra. But to his dismay, Miguel Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ipuassu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
