After having played for 4 minutes, Rui Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ibiara SC's Délio Seco got a free kick in the 6th minute. Vitório Abraão, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hamílton Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Samuel Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hamílton Cruz in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Marquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 23 minutes, Leonel Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibiara SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Marquez was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Hamílton Cruz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hamílton Cruz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. A collision led to Ibiara SC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Délio Seco hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Aílton Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Marquez. Ibiara SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aílton Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Colombia SS's Aílton Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia SS from getting a goal against them. Aílton Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Samuel Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Aílton Arruda managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Ibiara SC's Haroldo França fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 71stth minute of the game Leonel Hoffmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia SS's Aílton Arruda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Ibiara SC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Elias Dracena hit a great ball. Ibiara SC's Samuel Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Urbano in the 76th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Délio Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibiara SC and the Colombia SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Ibiara SC got a freekick which was hit by Délio Seco. If Haroldo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kauã Penha hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Colombia SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
