Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Delfim Reis started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Macava AD booed when Souzas SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Souzas SC's Geovani Couto in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macava AD's goalie prevented a goal. If José Augusto Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Reis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andrézinho de Alcântara came out and tried to block the shot, but Delfim Reis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Andrézinho de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Geovani Couto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Simões was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The supporters of Macava AD booed when Souzas SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrézinho de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Reis in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Souzas SC's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Reis came free, but Andrézinho de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Macava AD's goalkeeper Arnaldo Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Geovani Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrézinho de Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Macava AD's Arnaldo Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Couto in the 42nd minute of play. When José Augusto Secco came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Macava AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Augusto Secco couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Macava AD's Arnaldo Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Macava AD from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, Souzas SC's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Bertassi came free, but Andrézinho de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedê Tavares kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match Davi Cosme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrézinho de Alcântara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot by Deivid Carioca from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Arnaldo Simões's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Macava AD's zone, Geovani Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Simões came out of the goal and Geovani Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinícius de Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinícius de Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vinícius de Queirós hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Geovani Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Simões having to interfere. Wágner Bertassi's late challenge caught a Souzas SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wágner Bertassi helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovani Couto got free with Arnaldo Simões in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrézinho de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Lucas Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Souzas SC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Coelho. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
