If Lenílson Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Apody's zone, Cido Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulinho Prata came out of the goal and Cido Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Paulo da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho de Alcântara having to interfere. If Lenílson Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Coelho hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Lenílson Zonta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Paulo da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Apody's Lenílson Zonta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrézinho de Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Víktor Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cido Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute João Paulo da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Paulo da Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46thth minute of the game Cido Nóbrega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apody's Paulinho Prata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Paulo da Silva was the one to do the kick off. Paulinho Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Coelho in the 52nd minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Apody's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Couto came free, but Paulinho Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Apody's Jano Tinoco got a free kick in the 61st minute. Apody's Paulinho Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Couto in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Souzas SC's Cido Nóbrega got a free kick in the 84th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cido Nóbrega during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cido Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
