Breja SC's Felippe Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Mandrak in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Ronaldinho Mandrak made a precise shot to the right of Felippe Tinoco. Breja SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 74 minutes into the game, Breja SC's Rodolfo Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mazinho Freire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jânio Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jânio Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Igataua SC booed when Breja SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jânio Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felippe Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Ronaldinho Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. Breja SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wanderson Cabral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mazinho Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igataua SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
