Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mané Cardozo made the kick off which started today's match. Mané Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Fabiano Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Marquez having to interfere. Lúcio Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Pimenta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabiano Ramos went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Hermínio Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Paumaripe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio Saldanha couldn't finish the play. David do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lúcio Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Residencia FC's Mané Cardozo got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, André Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paumaripe FC's Alan Vander shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lúcio Marquez but with some difficulty. In the 42nd minute Hermínio Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Paumaripe FC's Pedro Luiz do Nascimento got a free kick in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Pedro Luiz do Nascimento took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lúcio Marquez. Lúcio Marquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 57 minutes into the match, Residencia FC's Mané Cardozo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mané Pimenta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Giuseppe Lara's late challenge caught a Residencia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Lara helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Paumaripe FC got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Lara. With an all-out effort, Residencia FC's Mané Pimenta threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mané Cardozo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Juarês de Lara fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Residencia FC's protests and gave Juarês de Lara a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Residencia FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Juarês de Lara hit a great ball. David do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Fabiano Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Residencia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mané Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Cardozo in the 78th minute of play forced Paumaripe FC's goalkeeper Mané Pimenta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lúcio Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Saldanha in the 81st minute of play. David do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes Residencia FC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Pinho. 95 minutes into the match, Paumaripe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Cardozo came free, but Mané Pimenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Residencia FC's Fabiano Ramos managed to work through Paumaripe FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Fabiano Ramos dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 98 minutes into the match, Fabiano Ramos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Paumaripe FC's Mané Pimenta. Mané Pimenta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Paumaripe FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Residencia FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Residencia FC.
