When João Carlos Leão came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Trabiju fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Carlos Leão couldn't finish the play. Percy Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 30 minutes into the match, Trabiju's goalkeeper Alan Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauã Barral. After having played for 34 minutes, Rogério Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trabiju's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute João Carlos Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Abelardo de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo de Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kauã Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alan Albuquerque was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 67 minutes of play, Oratorio's Abelardo de Almeida made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alan Albuquerque was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Kauã Barral came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Oratorio fans jumped to their feet. After 83 played minutes Trabiju got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Corrêa. Oratorio's Ediberto Tavares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Trabiju. The supporters of Oratorio booed when Trabiju was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Kauã Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oratorio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kauã Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alan Albuquerque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abelardo de Almeida went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Kauã Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oratorio's supporters rose to their feet, but Kauã Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
