Kauã Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the game, Válbson Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinare SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oratorio the free kick. In the 7th minute, Válbson Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes, Oratorio's Ediberto Tavares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mané Barbosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oratorio reached it. In the 10th minute, Renato Motta made a precise shot to the right of Percy Freitas. Oratorio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ediberto Tavares shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a little luck, Pinare SS's Mané Barbosa got control of the ball when Kauã Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breno Lira in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percy Freitas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute Breno Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Freitas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Lira in the 20th minute of play forced Oratorio's goalkeeper Percy Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mané Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo de Almeida in the 23rd minute of play. Mané Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo de Almeida in the 25th minute of the match. Percy Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Giuseppe Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinare SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Giuseppe Sabóia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percy Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pinare SS's Breno Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giuseppe Sabóia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Percy Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Lira in the 40th minute of play. If Renato Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Breno Lira made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kauã Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Barbosa was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute Kauã Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Giuseppe Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinare SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giuseppe Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Rocha hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Breno Lira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percy Freitas was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. The supporters of Pinare SS booed when Oratorio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giuseppe Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Freitas having to interfere. Ediberto Tavares succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to get real power on a long shot . Pinare SS's Mané Barbosa hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-2! Kauã Barral struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Mané Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oratorio. Oratorio's Abelardo de Almeida suffered a concussion after 94 minutes and had to leave the field. Luiz Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mané Barbosa. Pinare SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mané Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauã Barral's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
