Wágner Silveira scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolas Lucas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 9 minutes, Alexandre Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rinconada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rinconada booed when Suassurana SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Suassurana SS booed when Rinconada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Matos in the 22nd minute of play forced Suassurana SS's goalkeeper Nicolas Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Silveira in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Lucas saved Suassurana SS from getting behind. Carlos Augusto Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ediberto Paraíba made a huge save. Naldo Vasconcelos might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ediberto Paraíba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Naldo Vasconcelos ran back to his position shaking his head. Wágner Silveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Alexandre Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Betão Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suassurana SS's protests and gave Betão Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Suassurana SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Alexandre Matos notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Suassurana SS's Nicolas Lucas. Nicolas Lucas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Rinconada booed when Suassurana SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Naldo Vasconcelos made a kick off. Ediberto Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A collision led to Suassurana SS getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Vladimir Meireles hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, Carlos Augusto Dantas notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Rinconada's Ediberto Paraíba. Ediberto Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandre Matos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicolas Lucas. That made the score 1-5 in the 66 minute of play. Ediberto Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Vasconcelos in the 72nd minute of the match. Ediberto Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 75 minutes, Alexandre Matos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rinconada and the Suassurana SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alexandre Matos hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Betão Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Naldo Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediberto Paraíba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Lucas made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Wágner Silveira sent off a good shot on target. After 92 minutes of play, Suassurana SS's Naldo Vasconcelos made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ediberto Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Augusto Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediberto Paraíba having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rinconada walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
