After taking down the ball on Pirassununga's corner Diego Damião fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dalmo Miranda quite easily take care of the ball. Cássio Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dalmo Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sapopema getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Manoel Gomes hit a great ball. The Pirassununga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
