The supporters of Itubera booed when Mamory SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mamory SC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 29 minutes of play, Itubera's Paulinho Urbano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Válter Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Guilherme Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 53 minutes of play, Mamory SC's Válter Azevedo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeu Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Itubera's Pedro Luís de Castro suffered a sprained foot after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 56 minutes into the game, Ulisses Perez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Válter Azevedo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amadeu Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Mamory SC's Marcelinho Cruz got control of the ball when Allan Pereira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Léo da Silva hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Luiz Guilherme Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Mamory SC fans jumped to their feet.
