Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Amílton Alvarenga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Iaci FC's zone, Amílton Alvarenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Mendonça came out of the goal and Amílton Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Arceburgo SS's Vicente Esteves got a free kick in the 12th minute. When Naldo da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iaci FC's protests and gave Naldo da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Iaci FC got a freekick which was hit by Naldo da Fonseca. After 23 played minutes, Iaci FC's Tomé Massa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Vítor Tavares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Iaci FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Bezerra in the 26th minute of play forced Arceburgo SS's goalkeeper João Vítor Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Yuri Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Vítor Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Naldo da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Naldo da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Iaci FC's Yuri Bezerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Vítor Tavares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yuri Bezerra made a kick off. Naldo da Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but João Vítor Tavares made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Bezerra in the 55th minute of play forced Arceburgo SS's goalkeeper João Vítor Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 played minutes Arceburgo SS got a freekick which was hit by Robinho Neto. Naldo da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Tavares having to interfere. Amílton Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With 69 minutes on the clock, Luiz Guilherme Donato commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 68 minutes into the game, one of Iaci FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rodolfo Mendonça had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Vicente Esteves's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Amílton Alvarenga might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amílton Alvarenga ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodolfo Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorival Ramalho went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Amílton Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dorival Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Rodolfo Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Alvarenga in the 93rd minute of the match. Rodolfo Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Iaci FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arceburgo SS.
