Breno Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jairo Loureiro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Jamitine SS's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Bezerra came free, but José Carlos Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Bezerra in the 16th minute of play forced Jamitine SS's goalkeeper José Carlos Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Severino Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Yuri Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iaci FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuri Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Carlos Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Iaci FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rodolfo Simão hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Bruninho Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Mendonça. Iaci FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruninho Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Iaci FC's Rubens do Valle got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Jamitine SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Seco to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Jamitine SS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Elivélton Favoretto hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Naldo da Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Carlos Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jefferson de Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. José Carlos Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naldo da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Bruninho Seco in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodolfo Mendonça, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Iaci FC's Rubens do Valle got a free kick in the 61st minute. Bruninho Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodolfo Mendonça firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rodolfo Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson de Amorim in the 68th minute of play. Rodolfo Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Bruninho Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruninho Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Rubens do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jamitine SS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
