Álvaro da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Centralito AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Álvaro da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. Álvaro da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Centralito AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Leme came free, but Elder de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Milho defense, Célio Tinoco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Montenegro. The Milho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Montenegro should have stopped the shot. After 10 minutes, Lúcio Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milho and the Centralito AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Reynaldo Vidal hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes Centralito AD got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Vianna. Dênis Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elder de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Jardel Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dráuzio Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder de Toledo having to interfere. Dráuzio Moreira let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 31st minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. Elder de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráuzio Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder de Toledo having to interfere. Elder de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráuzio Moreira in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute, Vítor Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráuzio Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder de Toledo having to interfere. Elder de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. José Augusto Recife's late challenge caught a Milho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Augusto Recife helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Milho booed when Centralito AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elder de Toledo came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Milho's Dênis Leme. But to his dismay, Dênis Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 82nd minute, Célio Tinoco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jardel Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nelsinho Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Célio Tinoco got free with Nelsinho Montenegro in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Centralito AD's Elder de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Leme in the 88th minute of play. If Jardel Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Milho's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
