José Pedro Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráuzio Moreira in the 4th minute. A collision led to Iperaba AD getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sandro Peres hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Iperaba AD's zone, Dráuzio Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Pedro Magalhães came out of the goal and Dráuzio Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 7 minutes, Oséas Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iperaba AD and the Milho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Iperaba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Correia to maneuver through the defense. Dráuzio Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Magalhães having to interfere. Dráuzio Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Pedro Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Leme in the 17th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Álvaro da Fonseca during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Milho getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Álvaro da Fonseca hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Milho's Dênis Leme got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 23 played minutes Milho got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Moreira. Dênis Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. José Pedro Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dênis Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Magalhães having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Álvaro da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the game's 44th minute Iperaba AD's Danilo Sena took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Nelsinho Montenegro and thus the score was 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dráuzio Moreira made a kick off. Milho's Dráuzio Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Pedro Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráuzio Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Dráuzio Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. José Pedro Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 minutes of play Iperaba AD's Oséas Correia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 62nd minute, Oséas Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráuzio Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Nelsinho Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráuzio Moreira struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. José Pedro Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milho. Dráuzio Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Iperaba AD booed when Milho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dênis Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fernando Breckenfeld struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Nelsinho Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iperaba AD. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Iperaba AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
