Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dedé Cabral took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carlinhos Dias charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlinhos Dias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlinhos Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Eliézer Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 played minutes Itacima SC got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Vinhas. Zé Augusto Santos, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eliézer Secco scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aílton Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Irapua booed when Itacima SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Augusto Santos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aílton Fonseca. Itacima SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 23 minutes, Walmyr Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itacima SC and the Irapua players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eliézer Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Fonseca having to interfere. During the 30th minute of the match Carlinhos Dias completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carlinhos Dias a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 31st match minute, Itacima SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Dias to maneuver through the defense. Aílton Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Secco in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Rogério Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliézer Secco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aílton Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dedé Cabral during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zé Augusto Santos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half Irapua were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliézer Secco was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Irapua booed when Itacima SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irapua's Zé Augusto Santos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Itacima SC. A collision led to Irapua getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eliézer Secco hit a great ball. Irapua's Natã Zilles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Queiroz in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Irapua's goalkeeper Natã Zilles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Irapua's Eliézer Secco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. In the 80th minute, Rogério Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho Britto during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Itacima SC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Luisinho Britto hit a great ball. Aílton Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Secco in the 83rd minute of play. Luiz Paulo Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Zilles having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Itacima SC's zone, Eliézer Secco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aílton Fonseca came out of the goal and Eliézer Secco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aílton Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogério Luz in the 96th minute. The Itacima SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Irapua were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
