Imbiara SC's Erik Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Secco in the 51st minute of play. In the 58th minute Zé Carlos Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Zilles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Irapua's Filipe Quirino got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of Imbiara SC booed when Irapua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Zé Carlos Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Zé Carlos Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Imbiara SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Carlos Quadros couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes of play, Imbiara SC's Washington Fontes made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natã Zilles was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Imbiara SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
