Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guilherme Peres took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Guatacaba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. Jubim's Geraldo Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Guatacaba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Guilherme Peres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guatacaba AD's Gerson Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Guatacaba AD booed when Jubim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Délio Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Branco in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Délio Mesquita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Guatacaba AD's zone, Geraldo Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerson Esteves came out of the goal and Geraldo Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Guatacaba AD's Silvinho Meirelles got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th match minute, Guatacaba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Schmidt in the 38th minute of play forced Guatacaba AD's goalkeeper Gerson Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Guilherme Peres fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gerson Esteves, passed just outside the right post. Geraldo Schmidt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Gerson Esteves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 1-0 became the score in the 53rd minute when Armando Branco elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Guatacaba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Peres came free, but Gerson Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Armando Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Délio Mesquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 70 minutes, Geraldo Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jubim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geraldo Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ulisses Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Ulisses Motta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Délio Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Armando Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramón Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Geraldo Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
