In the 44th minute, João Carlos Ferraz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maricoabo SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Giuseppe Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliézer Proença to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Didi Pires got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-3 became the score in the 55th minute when Giuseppe Viana elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chico Vianna made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when João Carlos Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd match minute, Cavalos SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deivid Quintal to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match, João Carlos Ferraz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Chico Vianna was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 64th minute, João Carlos Ferraz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 65th minute, Maricoabo SC's Giuseppe Viana dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Chico Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chico Vianna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Viana in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, João Carlos Ferraz notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Cavalos SC's Chico Vianna. Chico Vianna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cavalos SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maricoabo SC the free kick. Chico Vianna went to the wrong direction when Luciano Reis was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Didi Pires in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Vianna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Carlos Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Carlos Ferraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Vianna having to interfere.
