Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Américo do Valle kicked off to start the match. Salsas FC's Sandrinho Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo do Valle in the 3rd minute of play. Sandrinho Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Américo do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandrinho Simões was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, Américo do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandrinho Simões. Salsas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Cauacu getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Adalmo Bittencourt hit a great ball. Ernani de Barros hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Adolfo Borges came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Cauacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Borges couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the match, Salsas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo do Valle came free, but Sandrinho Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cauã Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zé Roberto Sampaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Clemente Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cauã Duarte in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Sampaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, Américo do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandrinho Simões. Salsas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Cauacu's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Duarte came free, but Zé Roberto Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Américo do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Zé Roberto Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Duarte in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Cauã Duarte notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Cauacu's Zé Roberto Sampaio. Zé Roberto Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 67 minutes into the match, Américo do Valle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sandrinho Simões, 1-5. Clemente Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandrinho Simões was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Betinho Nunes. After having played for 77 minutes, Cauã Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salsas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauã Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Américo do Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sandrinho Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Clemente Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. A hard shot 90 in the game by Adolfo Borges from a close distance when the talented Sandrinho Simões managed to make a qualified save. Salsas FC's players were relieved.
