Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Robinho Moreno started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Juarês Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dráusio de Souza fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guadiana's protests and gave Dráusio de Souza a yellow card for diving instead. Dráusio de Souza hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Dráusio de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias de Toledo having to interfere. With a little luck, Picui FC's Elias de Toledo got control of the ball when Dráusio de Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robinho Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Elias de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Dráusio de Souza put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Elias de Toledo. Otávio Cosme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Matos having to make a save. Robinho Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Elias de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Robinho Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otávio Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Paulo Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robinho Moreno in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Robinho Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guadiana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robinho Moreno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Picui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Moreno came free, but Elias de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gildo Marinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Matos was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th match minute, Guadiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Alves to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Alexandre Madureira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Matos skillfully saved the ball. Dráusio de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Guadiana booed when Picui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Guadiana's Robinho Moreno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elias de Toledo. That made the score 2-0 after 42 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gildo Marinho made a kick off. When Dráusio de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Guadiana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráusio de Souza couldn't finish the play. Gildo Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Paulo Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Picui FC's Elias de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dráusio de Souza in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Arce in the 60th minute of play forced Picui FC's goalkeeper Elias de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otávio Cosme succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 73rd playminute. After 77 minutes, Raimundo Alves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guadiana and the Picui FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 77 played minutes Guadiana got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Alves. If Dráusio de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robinho Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Couto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If Gildo Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gildo Marinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Matos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gildo Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Otávio Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guadiana had won after a very even match.
