Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Anadia FC's Murilo Veloso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes Diadema got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Recife. After 10 minutes, Patrício Paraíba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anadia FC and the Diadema players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Anadia FC's Patrício Paraíba got a free kick in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Kléberson Brasil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Paulo Massa was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Aleandro Tinoco took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Paulo Massa. João Paulo Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. João Paulo Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tostão Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Anadia FC's Murilo Veloso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wanderson Torres. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. In the 27th minute, Kléberson Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Kléberson Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wanderson Torres made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Patrício Paraíba sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Recife in the 38th minute of play forced Anadia FC's goalkeeper João Paulo Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murilo Veloso in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wanderson Torres saved Diadema from getting behind. Murilo Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Torres having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Augusto Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tostão Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Paulo Massa having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tostão Recife made a kick off. Kléberson Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but João Paulo Massa made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Benê dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Anadia FC's Benê dos Santos got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 63 minutes, Kléberson Brasil made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Anadia FC's João Paulo Massa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg João Paulo Massa managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Diadema's Kléberson Brasil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Olavo Albuquerque put in a rough tackle. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Diadema! Wanderson Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrício Paraíba in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Murilo Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Paiva's late challenge caught a Diadema's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Anadia FC's Angelo Paiva got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Murilo Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anadia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murilo Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Diadema getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Dida Bertassi hit a great ball. The supporters of Anadia FC booed when Diadema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrício Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Torres having to interfere. Murilo Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Wanderson Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anadia FC's João Paulo Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Anadia FC from getting a goal against them. In the 98th match minute, Anadia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrício Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Diadema walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
