Délio Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Digo Faustino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Assai booed when Guarana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Délio Recife was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nicolas Ortiz. Cléber Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Guarana's goalkeeper Délio Recife had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Digo Faustino. Jeferson Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléber Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan de Sena in the 30th minute of play. Assai's Cléber Gaspar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Pirani in the 32nd minute of play. Guarana's Kauan Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cléber Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Guarana's Délio Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Gomes in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauan Pirani to strike the kick off in the second half. Assai's Cléber Gaspar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Assai from getting a goal against them. Kauan Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cléber Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Kauan Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guarana! Jeferson Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Délio Recife having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Guarana's zone, Digo Faustino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Délio Recife came out of the goal and Digo Faustino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 77 played minutes Assai got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Mendes. In the 78th minute of the match, Afonso Lucas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cléber Gaspar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 80 played minutes Assai got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Mendes. The long shot by Afonso Lucas in the 81st minute really tested Cléber Gaspar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kauan Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Gomes in the 87th minute of play forced Guarana's goalkeeper Délio Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Digo Faustino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Jeferson Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Assai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guarana the free kick. After a rather tough play, Assai's Jeferson Gomes got a free kick in the 91st minute. Kauan Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Gaspar having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Assai fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guarana had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
